June 2021 BTOG Journal Club for Trainees

In response to feedback from trainees and part of BTOG’s work to provide resources for trainees, BTOG is pleased to launch the ‘BTOG Journal Club’.   The target audience will be medical trainees of all grades including medical students, junior consultants and allied health professionals. It will be available as a benefit of BTOG membership and therefore participants must be a BTOG member to participate.  If you forward this information to trainees not yet BTOG members, they can easily join BTOG here.

BTOG is proud to bring you a regular virtual journal club on the latest trials in thoracic oncology facilitated by experts and discussing all things from trial design to results interpretation and their implications for clinical practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to discuss landmark trials with experts and peers and definitely not one to be missed!

Our first BTOG Journal Club is on Thursday 24th June at 17:30 – 18:30 where we will discuss CheckMate 743 investigating the use of first line ipilimumab and nivolumab in mesothelioma.
